TO DEATH WITH A SMILE: LICENSE TO KILL

The goal into making this poster was to portray death in a humorous way using rhetoric devises such as irony, similes, and metaphors. This poster features a parody of the Grim Reaper derived from his occupation in killing and stealing souls without getting punished for his actions. In other words, he has a “license to kill”, which is one of the film names in the James Bond movie franchises. Included in this poster is The Grim Reaper portrayed as James Bond himself, along with other movie related imagery. My poster received critical acclaim and was declared as a finalist in the Mumedi Museum of Design’s “To Death with a Smile” international poster competition held in Mexico.
