Having a cat around the house can make your life happier, but sometimes more stressful as well. Specifically, trying to cut a cat’s nails is typically a difficult if not impossible task. To avoid getting scratched or losing control of your cat, one would need to know the secrets and tricks behind cutting their cat’s nails. Claws Decoded is a short magazine article for The Society of Publication Designers that provides helpful tips and tricks needed for cat owners to cut their cat’s nails in a safer and more relaxed manner. The design of this four-column spread is intended to reflect the domestic animal theme by using minimal color illustrations so that the  design is not only fun and playful, but also informative for its readers.
